(Share Your Story & Anti-bullying Campaign - Mental Health Advocacy)

“This was just what my students needed! After almost a year of online learning with their teachers and diligently attending my youth development course, our participants needed a change. Something to keep them going at a time where cyber-bullying and the mental health crisis is at an all-time high. Thank you Ashley for showing my youth the light at the end of the tunnel. To bring hope, acknowledging the hard times and pain and showing them how to overcome and better their quality of life. It was the spark they needed. I was happy they felt comfortable enough to share their own stories, and open up about what they were going through mentally.”

Art Empowerment Program - Free Access to the Arts

“Kian received his first Art Empowerment package from Fearless Movement in 2018 when he was eleven. Ashley had heard that he was struggling with seizures and that it was his birthday. He loved it! First of all, he enjoyed going through all of the surprises. Kian loved getting the package and he felt so special. He also loved getting to choose a different project to focus on each day. He was able to take an hour a day to destress and not think about the seizures that had been constant during that time. He was able to be creative and even gave some of his projects as Christmas gifts. He has received many throughout the years to help in times of need. The art empowerment packs do just that - They empower the one receiving the gift and gives them the opportunity to take a step away from the chaos of their life to discover healing in their creative outlet.”  - Maureen Prohowhich, Mother of Kian.

Laptop Scholarship

One of our local student's mother died in February of 2020, and currently lives with his grandparents. They didn’t have the funds to purchase a laptop. When his need came to Fearless Movement, we provided a brand new computer that matched his needs for school. It’s now coming to the end of the semester and he sent us a thank you text that shared:

”Here is a picture of my grades at the moment, awaiting one exam score. I have three high A’s of 100% and the remaining two A’s are a 97% and 94%. We are in week 10 out of 15, and this computer has played a vital role. Thank you so much.”

Immediate Scholarship Need

"My financial needs have become one of the most difficult factors while trying to further my education so I can pursue my career goals in Special Education. This scholarship has no doubt lightened the weight on my shoulders and provided relief while in my studies, rather worry about my financial struggles. I am even more inspired now to continue the race, graduating in Spring 2021 and help encourage and give to others as you have to me."

Internship Program

Graphic Design Intern

"My experience interning with Fearless Movement aided in recently receiving a student position at Rowan College of South Jersey, aiding their marketing department with design work. The internship has helped me further understand the process of time-management, adaptability, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and prioritizing. I learned designing for this organization is mainly on how branding works with real-time experience, how to transition between print and video design, and how virtual-type work functions are interacting with people. I enjoyed storytelling of active change through Fearless Movement."

PR & Social Media Intern

"Through my internship, I have gained substantial knowledge learning new software and platforms while enjoying cultivating change in our community. I now have more of an arsenal when it comes to editing and creating content with a higher level of comfort in the workplace. Along with knowledge and comfort, I am more confident to speak with the public through Fearless Movement's community about serious issues and growing my podcast."

Development and Fundraising

"By learning the development of a non-profit organization, my communication, fundraising and innovation skills grew!

This internship gave me a purpose and it was the best feeling to be able to look back at my work in sharing the stories of those impacted and the impact of our donors gift.”
